Full Professor and Deputy Director of the Department of Psychology at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa. Integrated researcher and member of the Coordinating Committee of the University Research Centre in Psychology – CUIP/UALg (UAL branch). Full member of the Portuguese Psychologists Association (OPP), with specializations in Clinical and Health Psychology and in Psychotherapy. Member of the National Psychology Forum (OPP). Vice-President of the Portuguese Association for Person-Centered Psychotherapy and Counselling (APPCPC).
