The Iberian Observatory of Healthy Learning and Youth Participation (OIASP-J) has as its mission the in-depth, systematic, and ecological study of the health, well-being, and development of young people in educational and social contexts, promoting healthy, inclusive, and participatory learning environments.

It aims to collaborate in the promotion of mental health, the prevention of psychosocial risks, and the strengthening of youth involvement in educational and community spaces, always with attention to their integral development, autonomy, and academic and social performance.

The OIASP-J has the following specific objectives:

Characterize the needs for promoting health, well-being, inclusion, and active participation of children and young people in educational and community contexts;

Assess the adequacy of existing responses to these needs;

Identify and disseminate good practices in learning environments and youth participation;

Propose measures and public policies to the competent authorities;

Highlight and promote emerging and relevant themes for research and social and educational innovation;

Study the relationship between well-being, involvement, and academic and community performance;

Publish annual reports with data and recommendations;

Offer training and consultancy in the areas of healthy learning, youth health, and civic participation;

Issue technical opinions on relevant topics within the scope of youth and healthy education;
