Full Professor of Medicine (Rheumatology) at NOVA Medical School, Coordinator of the Associated Laboratory REAL and the Comprehensive Health Research Center (CHRC) Research Unit. Responsible for the Rheumatology Unit, Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Central. President of the Portuguese Society of Rheumatology. Chairman of the AICIB Advisory Board and the Value for Health Collaborative Laboratory.
