Associate professor with tenure at iSCTE-IUL, he has been a teacher since 1995, specializing in Tourism, Marketing and Entrepreneurship. In addition to teaching, he has been a consultant for several entities, including the Ministry of Economy, IAPMEI, AIP, AEP, AERLIS, GNR, ACT, CCP, Turismo de Portugal and numerous private companies.
He holds two PhDs, both with distinction (cum laude) - one in Management with a specialization in Marketing and the other in Tourism. He also has a Master's degree in Strategy, an MBA, a degree in Management and a postgraduate degree in E-business. As an author, he has written 26 books and published more than 240 articles indexed in Scopus.
